Fifteen Peoples have killed in shooting at Prague’s Charles University.
DgYugandhara News: Dated 21/12/2023, Thursday, Czech police reported ,at least 15 people have been killed and more than 30 injured in a shooting at a university in central Prague, Armed police rushed to the scene on Thursday night after reports that a gunman had opened fire on the roof of Charles University in the Czech capital. Also Czech Police informed that the father of shouter's student, was found dead in Thursday morning, and an arrest warrant was also issued for his son this morning.
Videos on social media show dozens of people panicking at the sound of gunshots and running up stone stairs to escape the university. They said the police were dispatched because the shooting happened at a school on Jan Palach Square. Charles University and the University of Art, Architecture and Design are located in the area.
The police station said the square was closed. People were also urged to stay off the surrounding streets and stay inside their homes. A chilling photo shows eight students crouching precariously on the ground outside the high windows of the Art Institute building as they try to hide from the gunman..
